Hi Folks
When compiling the gazetteer for the “Prehistoric Rock Art In the Northern Dales” – with ongoing research it’s inevitable that it will be out of date as soon as it’s published! Here’s three new sites that we’ve just discovered.
I’ve included some photographs in advance that may be of interest to you
From two new sites discovered in Feldom Ranges and one from Skelton Moor, all in North Yorkshire

Hi Paul,
I didn’t realise that your book was finally out until I read Brians comment. Congratulations to Barbara and yourself.
Once the YAJ has been published is there any chance of giving us a heads up.
I’ve just ordered a copy and came across Brian Smith and Alan Walkers book, Rock art and Ritual, http://www.thehistorypress.co.uk/Default.aspx?tabid=7613&ProductID=1468
Has anyone read it yet?
cheers
Gavin

Hi Gavin,
I saw it on amazon last week and ordered a copy, haven’t got it yet, but did think it would be a good book to sit along side the other yorks rock art books.
cheers

Hi Brian
Both books arrived today so I guess I’m in for some reading over the next couple of weeks.
